Spin Art, by Jacey Boggs? I highly recommend it and it has a DVD that comes with the book. Well, I finally got around to watching it the other day, which helped make the different art yarn forms seem less intimidating. She makes it look so easy! I came away with wanting to try a different spinning method for my singles after watching her spin singles, so I've been working on the short backwards draw. I've changed how I hold the fibers in my right hand, which is making it easier to control the fiber and keep the consistency even. Nice. As soon as I stop thinking about it, I revert back to my default spinning style, so I do have to concentrate on my hands so there's no daydreaming for me while practicing this.
handspun blended yarn that I had blended out of Rambouillet, mohair, and silk. I like wearing berets and this one will be fun to wear this winter.
ice cube dyeing experiment-hey, I finally get to use some of it! I'd like to explore the Dresden pattern more in the near future....
