We've been struggling with the flu
the past couple of weeks.
We thought that maybe,
we'd make it through the flu season without catching it,
We're feeling better now,
but there hasn't been much energy
to be creative lately.
A bit of spinning-
some lovely Polwarth/silk
that is simply lovely to spin.
It's shiny and soft,
making it easily flow over my fingers as I spin.
A bit more spinning,
again with Polwarth wool/Tussah silk,
only in a different colorway.
I love the subtle color changes in this combed top,
I thought that I'd spin singles of each,
and then ply them with each other to see how that will look.
A special yarn for a hat or a scarf or ?
I'd like to share another hand carved spoon
that my husband,
created out of a chunk of walnut firewood.
Baby Bella turns six months this week!
She has a special reflective jacket
for early morning walks,
and each morning she's vibrating with happy energy.
