A Handwoven Pillow

I cut this plain weave fabric off of my Louet Jane loom,
gave it a gentle hand wash, let it drip dry
and then sewed it to a linen back.
I’m really pleased with how it turned out!

For the weavers out there,
I used a combination of mercerized and unmercerized cotton yarns
that varied in weight from 3/2 to 8/2, boucle yarn
and a couple of heavy linen yarns.
The sett was 16 epi.

I’m really liking the bumpy novelty yarn-it adds a touch of whimsy to the cloth.

Cheers,
Judy
