Lavender Loveliness-Dyeing A Hank of Merino/silk roving

The other day I dyed a 100 g hank
 of the lovely Bare roving
which is a soft blend of Merino and silk.
I used 1 tsp of violet acid dye solution
to 8 ounces of water to achieve the soft lavender color that I wanted.
I’m going to spin this into a lace weight yarn
so that I can knit a cowl for this winter.
I’m going to use the pattern,
Col Rivière,
by Solenn Couix Loarer.
You can find the pattern on Ravelry.

Spin on,
Judy
