Second Towel Using the Plaited Twill Warp

 

I just started weaving the second kitchen towel 

on my eight shaft plaited twill warp.

For this towel I’m using a 16/2 linen in burnt orange 

that I purchased from the Yarn Barn of Kansas.

I love the burnt orange color even if I can’t see the pattern as well.

 The linen yarn adds a bit of sheen to the handwoven cloth.

 As I throw the shuttle, it’s very rewarding to watch a unique cloth emerge.
