A Thrift Store Find
My husband, Marshall, and I like to visit thrift stores now and then. You never really know what you’ll find which makes it fun. I’m always on the hunt for cotton sheets in good condition to use for donation baby quilts. The last visit Marshall discovered three large vintage cones of yarn. I glanced at the labels and found them to be yarns that I could weave with.
I started winding the first cone into skeins so that I could wash them to prepare them for weaving a throw. This is the lovely result-soft, luscious mohair for $5 for a two pound cone.
Cheers,
Judy
