A Variety of Simple Hemmed Knit Hats

I love knitting hats
and this simple hemmed hat pattern has been a favorite for years.
I’ve knit many of these hats for gifts for special people.
The double thickness helps to keep the ears warm,
even on very cold and windy days.
This hat was created using a blending of five commercial Merino yarns.
I love the end result-it reminds me of the lavender in my summer garden.

This hat was knit using a slubby handspun Sari silk/Merino yarn.

This hat was knit for my husband,
using six different commercial Merino/alpaca yarns,
It goes quite well with his favorite green down jacket.

I love this blue hat that I made for myself-
the bright blue stripes seem so cheerful against the dark background.

Another red hat, this time knit from handspun Merino/silk yarn.
I wish you could feel the hat-it’s super soft and very warm to wear.

And last of all,
a charcoal gray hat rimmed with mellow yellow yarns
created from Merino/silk/alpaca commercial yarns.

Cheers,
Judy
