Small Woodworking Projects

 

My husband, Marshall,

 just finished creating this small red birch shelf 

for one of our bathrooms.

 I love the curved front and the natural golden red color of the wood. 

The red birch was a local find bought from a forester 

who was harvesting select trees on his property in the mountains. 

We loaded the back of one of our vehicles

 with beautiful slabs of red birch. 

I think the grin on Marshall’s face summed up the day quite well.

These are a few of the small bowls and boxes

 that Marshall has created over the years.

He also made red birch quilt hangers 

for the three small quilts hanging in the bathroom.

I’m blessed to share my life with another creative soul.
