Wood Turning-UpCycling a Salvaged Apple Tree

 

A couple of years ago we had the opportunity to salvage 

an apple tree in a pasture that had been sold.

It used to house a lovely old Appaloosa horse,

 Frosty, 

but now it’s a tightly crammed neighborhood.

I have to admit that I liked it much better as a pasture 

and I miss petting Frosty.

Here are pieces of that apple wood recreated by my artist husband, Marshall.

He loves to turn on his lathe, creating many lovely and unique bowls.

Just lovely.
