Dreaming of a Handwoven Vest

 

I just finished winding on this mixed warp of cottolin, Tencel and cotton yarns.

I discovered this lovely ball of Merino/Tencel yarn at an estate sale 

and it’s perfect for this project.

Yesterday morning I started weaving this 2/2 twill cloth on my Louët Jane loom.

 It feels wonderful to be throwing a shuttle again, 

watching an unique cloth emerge.

I plan on using this cloth to sew a vest that I can wear this spring.

I’m loving these colors!
