Hello Again
Have you had a good summer?
I’ve had a wonderful time doing outdoor activities
and then balancing them with creative time.
This summer I’ve completely fallen down the rabbit hole of sweater knitting.
Who knew?
I’ve been knitting for years-mostly hats, mittens and scarves.
This summer I tackled my first sweater,
finished that and now I’ve started my second sweater.
I’m knitting a Renunculus sweater, by Midori Hirose.
I’m using a 6 mm, US 10 needle
with a fingering weight yarn
held together with a lace weight yarn.
The fingering is Swans Island Organic Merino yarn
in the teal colorway
and the lace weight yarn is Malabrigo Lace
in the cypress colorway.
I’m off to start knitting the yoke.
Happy day!
Cheers,
Judy
