Practicing Spinning Lace Weight Yarn

I have four ounces (113 g) of House of Slathersin

60% Merino/40% silk top

that I want to spin into a lace weight yarn.

using a fast whorl with a 15.5:1 ratio.

So far, so good.

It feels wonderful to be spinning yarn once again.

Listening to a fantasy audiobook while I spin makes the afternoon fly by.
