Falling Down the Guitar Rabbit Hole

My husband, Marshall, is an avid woodworker

who over the years has made furniture and turned lovely bowls.

I’m thinking all of that is now in the past as he’s fallen headlong into a guitar rabbit hole.

One day he mentioned to me that he was going to start playing his vintage Gibson J45.

He grew up playing the guitar,

but due to work, life and raising three kids, there just wasn’t time for music.

Now that he’s retired, he has time to rediscover music.

Fast forward weeks later and he mentioned that he was thinking about making a guitar.

A guitar.

😂

He’s now on guitar #2 with the possibility of five more in the works.

How cool is that?

This is Marshall’s replica Martin 000 created out of beautiful walnut wood that was sourced locally.
