Plying Some Lovely Purple Merino Roving

 

For weeks/months now I’ve been slow spinning

 some lovely Merino roving using a Jensen Aegean spindle.

I pick it up and spin a bit now and then,

 knowing that eventually I will finish. 

It’s really all about the process, 

not the time that it takes.

Quiet, peaceful spinning-

feeling the fiber flow over my fingers while I create an unique yarn.

Yesterday I finished spinning it and this morning I plied it 

using my HansenCraft miniSpinner Pro.

As I was plying the yarn,

 I was dreaming about how I want to use it.

A new hat, I think, will be just right.
