Playing With Fabric-A Whimsical Appliqué Quilt

 

I decided to take a short break from making placemats

 to sew a quilt for my front door. 

Lately I’ve been dreaming about appliquéd flowers,

 so I thought that this would be a great time to create some using leftover scraps.

I machine stitched the appliqué and machine quilted this quilt.

It’s now hanging on my front door, cheerfully greeting me when I get home.

I’m off to sew.
